  1. I am pretty sure this guy has them in stock as i have just had some for a saracen. He has lots of difficult to find bits. (No Connection) https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/tamatthew8?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
  2. Came across this on ebay (no connection) Not sure if it suits your purpose. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ORIGINAL-1950s-BRITISH-ARMY-DIVISIONAL-AND-FORMATION-SIGN-WATERSLIDE-TRANSFER-28/254461945596?hash=item3b3f1d26fc:g:MM8AAOSwPh5ZJcGA
  3. Waiting for new seals for tillers ! I still don't quite understand why there are four tillers. I'm sure it will all come out in the wash, as my nana says.
  4. Thanks for that Richard, looks like i'll be able to do a proper job now !
  5. Following with interest ! Patience is a virtue ! Keep going, and well done.
  6. I'm still trying Ian, but not having any luck as yet.
  7. Watching with interest. Well done.
  8. The start solenoids are weak point on those packs. They often fail after becoming weak. New ones are getting hard to come by as well. Be sure to have your foot operated fuel cut off in good order ! A bit of grease won't make it any worse ? Not much help i know ! I need to replace mine on the 434, i have permanently lifted it to the open position and put a nut under it to keep it so. Therefore i use the foot operated fuel cut off. I do have a new solenoid, so i will add it to the 'to do' list.
  9. I think i will leave the steering unit intact for now, and concentrate on the engine and gearbox refurb.
  10. Then moved onto gearbox. A bit more tricky, but we got there in the end.
  11. Managed to remove engine today. Very happy with progress so far.
  12. Why do i bother putting two coats of heat and fuel proof, two pack in the engine bay ? Its never going to be seen, jammed full of engine and stuff !
  13. Both fuel tanks cleaned and repaired. Treated inside and out with a two pack resin that will seal any pin holes remaining. Tested by filling with water, and thankfully, not a drop came out !
  14. Well done to them, I looked inside this vehicle many times over the years and thought it was beyond me. So many bits missing, and in such bad condition internally.
  15. The lads have done an amazing job on this T69. Take a look here.
  16. Spent all day trying to get tillers to work again. Got there eventually by stripping down and replacing seals.
  17. Fuel tanks blasted. Progress is slow but steady ! One good thing, i now have the manual, so that should help immensely !
