The owner has another in yellow so I could make enquires about this one 🧐 😁 He also had an ex mod Jcb 410 fitted with loading shovel but I’ve not seen that for a while. this link may already be on hmvf somewhere but here it is anyway; http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=12095&sid=6520c633976cab767f6f213259150af6

  11. Manufacturer unknown and nearly new condition, slight bend in mounting rail would easily hammer straight. Collection from DE65 or 2nd class postage £20.25, looking for circa £30 for the Seat itself. regards nick
  12. Purchased in Oct 2013 this is my Militant recovery for sale, please see my restoration blog under ‘87 ET 77’ in the restorations section of this website. i have three spare part worn Michelin tyres on a single pallet and a 95% complete spare gearbox split over three pallets. Near bare metal respray with red oxide & then 2-pack NATO paint by local commercial spray shop. crane works as it should, not had cause to use the winch. Located in Derbyshire DE6 I can help with arranging transport. regards nick
  13. Militant now for sale in the usual two places, £12,250 Ono.
  14. Bit more done in the cab this morning, engine cover & top of engine partially sanded for engine blue.
  15. After a long absence due to family and work I’ve started to tidy the interior of the cab ready for sale - please DM me if interested. Iveco seat I removed a few years ago for sale separately.
  16. Iveco Seat . Condition is Used. I think this is a Eurocargo seat as I removed it from my AEC Militant Recovery, the previous owner of said truck fitted it. Never had a head rest by the looks of it but the holes for one are under the fabric. Used condition as can be seen from the photos. Bolt hole centres measure front to rear 14” and side to side 8.5” and come with the bolts. The seat almost folds flat and slides forwards and backwards. No seatbelt included. Happy for collection from South Derbyshire DE65.
  17. I’d called in a brake specialist as we couldn’t trace exactly where the fault was, they’d made the diaphragm then assembled it the wrong way round so I’ll be speaking to them about their invoice today.
  18. I’ve yet to replace any fortunately, one of my next projects is to replace the grease nipples as quite a few are in need, if you get stuck sourcing any let me know as I have a local contact who may know - they must be out there somewhere.
  19. After stripping, cleaning & lubricating the RIC valve, my Dad & I tried reassembling it with the gasket above the new diaphragm to try and cure the air leak when the foot brake is pressed. Once fitted back to the truck tonight it worked a treat. Such a small change made all the difference. Sequence was; valve block then push rod then diaphragm then gasket then lid.
