    Hi has any one replaced there old CAV / Simms 24v regulator /cut out for an electronic solid state one. Any recommendations please

    Hi any one got a working Simms Dynamo type 55DB1x. 24v. I'm looking for one, cash waiting. Or a CAV one that will work on an Albion EN244 engine, one which is strap on and takes a drive both ends. Thanks

    Hi wally I knew the museum had a Scammell Pioneer and trailer but didn't realise that they may have used the same coupling. I will e-mail them and see if they have any further info, because of the rarely of the CX24S i knew it was going to be a hard task and I'm very thankful for what you've already passed on. Skip
