  1. Hi Jim! I know this is an old thread, but I have a quick question for you about your Stalwart. The vehicle width of the Stolly is 103", but the max legal width in NY (and WA where I am) is 102". What did you do to get around this? I ask because I'm interested buying a Stolly I found locally, but don't want to jump through legal hoops to drive it around town. Thanks! ~Chad
  2. Hello, I currently reside in the Seattle area of Washington state, USA. I have no military service, and no ownership of any military vehicles...yet. But I have a great interest in them, and a healthy amount of general auto mechanics experience. My co-workers and I recently discovered several Alvis Stalwarts for sale in the area, and at a reasonable price - this sparked my interest! I found the HMVF while researching the Stolly, and discovered the wealth of MV knowledge you all have to offer. Hopefully one day I may contribute to the collection, especially if we end up with one (or several) of the Stalwarts :-D ~Chad
