No snow here (Halifax) just very, very cold all day.

Definitely the "friendly forum." I'm new to posting on internet forums, also to the world of military vehicles, but feel welcome here. Some other forums I've looked at have seemed rather intimidating and not very welcoming to new members, unlike this one :-)

I work in an office for a large company, but used to be an archaeologist.

Snowing here in Halifax again, much thicker than last time, however I won't be "panic buying" at the shops... Can never understand that; it's only a bit of weather and most people don't live in the middle of nowhere!

Started again here now, a bit thicker this time. Not looking forward to the journey to work tomorrow if it does ​snow all night!

Stopped here now. I think I'll stop taking notice of weather forecasts!

It's just started here (Halifax) ...very fine though, don't know if it will amount to much... thoroughly agree with OP though, fed up hearing "it's going to snow, it's going to snow/freeze" etc and nothing happening!
