New forum member here, used to have an old lightweight land rover, about 8-10 years ago (CTV372K, if anyone knows where she is!), now picked up another one, so thought I'd join up.
Now have a 1980 SIII 24V FFR lightweight, MOT'd and a runner, but in a bit of a state, has been converted to 12V with a 300TDi engine and box in it, and a hardtop.
From looking at it, I'm pretty certain it's had a VPK on it. (i.e. there are bloody holes everywhere!), but will need to find out the history of it to be certain.

As I also do Cold War British Army reenactment, the idea is to get it back to looking externally at least, like an army vehicle. After reading Mark Cook's book, I'm planning on keeping the hard top and using it as a Rupert's radio vehicle, with a clansman setup in the back.
