  1. Lacock at War 16th - 17th August 2014 After our second appearance at Lacock Village, we're back to bring you another great event for 2014. Our idea is to bring the village alive by stepping back in time. You can expect to see an array of Military Vehicles, both old and new. There will be great trade stands to look around, living history exhibits and NAAFI to enjoy a tea & doughnut. The Red Lion and Wadworths Brewery will have a great pig roast, BBQ and beer tent. We will also have living history groups, who will be set up on the field and parading through the Lacock Village streets. DJ Desert Fox will be entertaining us with his fab 1940s music. And the glamorous Madeline Brown will once again be wowing the crowds with her stunning performances. After many requests we will also be having the wonderful Dulcie Demure and her Burlesque workshop and firepower demonstrations from Das Heer. BATTLE OF BRITAIN MEMORIAL FLIGHT - SUNDAY 17TH AUG - TIME TBC Adults £3. Children £1.50. Under 5s FREE. You can find us on the Parish Council Playing Fields in the National Trust village of Lacock, Wiltshire. SN15 2LQ. For more information, visit us at: www.westwiltsmvt.co.uk
