    sounds like the oxide primer to me, and i would only drive a pink landy if it had lots anf lots of guns that way its a manly pink......SAS pinky drivers dont only wear the shemagh for dust but to keep there identities safe lol

    how many layers down was the pink? because it might be that who ever bought it when it came out of the army may have had a weird sense of humour. as for the Sterling its been answered above lol but you know you should get an SLR lol

    i am sure they only put the metal butt plate on the wooden stockted type, as mine is the plastic type and has the plastic butt plate, and sites are easy enough to find, but i am of course assuming you mean the iron sights and not the SUIT lol

    the only thing i am annoyed at not finding was an SLR mount for in my landy found the SA80 ones but i really need an SLR mount lol

    not much of a land rover pic but its the history board of my land rover and i am not 100% on the rear link detactment because i cant find anymore info at all but all other dates match up any help or other information would be great

    i entered the MV world when i was 9/10 years old collecting little bits of kit like webbing etc as i got older the toys got bigger and now 10 years on at the ripe old age of 20 i have my land rover lol and i dont see me stopping any time soon. so much so i am considering starting my own MV group but i dont know if it would take off and it people who own MV's (looking more towards post war group) would take me seriously as i am relatively young and new to the MV world with only 10 years in it

    well done to you jack!! next year i am going to have to get along to meet up with the HMVF lot because even tho i was there i was miles out of the way lol but it just shows that from little acorns and all that jazz lol

    Airsoft, i am part of a team (look in my sig for link) Wargames, always good fun Shooting, Playing bass guitar, playing mostly metal and goth/darkwave and if i am not doing uni work or messing withthe land rover i will be playing on the PC lol

    ryton arms weapons are really nice examples i think only the bren gun and the SMLE no1 mk3 i have got all mine from them lol

    58 pattern webbing complete with large pack for £10 to make up the rest of my webbing. SLR bayonet for £27 5 slings (1 enfield for a No4 (already on my rifle lol) 4 SLR) for £2 each already sold em lol NOS SLR sling for my SLR £4 lol and pat wares land rover book (the new one) £15 instead of £25 lol plus some other bits but they were all about the normal price still didnt find my Hi power for less than £300

    my land rover went from the army to the marines which are navy so i would expect that they were doing it all the time

    stills and video is always good and me personally i was thinking do music from the decade/era for example WW2 vehicles big band/glenn miller etc etc
