    Chieftain easy granted the challys are nice and the chally 2 is the best tank in the world by far but something about the old cold war dog Chieftain has a charm about it

    i do fancy when i finish uni getting my driving license (full one) as while i have been here i havent needed a car and after that thinking about taking my H license only problem is i would want a couple of hours in a 432 or something to get me used to it even before exam day.

    the A1 lightening used to be painted every year by the scrap yard owner till he died i believe well thats what my dad tells me anyway now the "kids" think its a tagging wall

    hi all i have a project coming up hopefully but what i am after is refernace pics of S3 109 ambulances without the box body, by that i mean a standard 109 ragtop which would be used as a ambulance also any part lists on whats inside one would be awesome. you can guess what i am trying to make lol

    todays "yoof" are getting dumber yes granted i am only 21 but i think its safe to say that for every 10 "yoof" there are 3 or 4 youngsters out there wanting to learn i think what depresses me the most is the fact that history that is taught in schools today is dark age stuff there is no modern (post 1900) history been taught anymore

    i am really looking for the front radioitor panel, footwells, wings or if i can find an old S2A with these parts serviceable i would consider making a good one out of a pair

    hey all i am back now and i will be posting more its been a weird summer this year i have pretty much dropped off the face of the planet due to some things going wrong but i am back now anyone know where i can get some S2a landy parts for my new project? cheers Jonny

    i wish my lot would have been there when the anti-war/mothers againest spoons mob showed up would have been fune with most of em ex-job or still in service, and if anyone tagged my landy i hope they could run fast. but anywho i will be on site saturday night/sunday morning 18th/19th but the rest of my mob and the other landy will be down on the thursday, should be a good year this year, as this week i am having cant really get any worse (bloody uni's they wanna bin the lot)

    GS and FFR land rovers were used in the gulf as when the army pulled out there is a tale that they buried 50 series 3 landys as it was cheaper to write them off than fetch em back. alot were painted light stone, light stone and black (once in operation)

    i run a small group of cold war "re-enactors" (loose use of the term) i am still getting stuff sorted to make it a true group but we are trying and we do lots of airsoft so we get to play with our kit lol

    yeah berlin brigade but the landy for it to be used right should have been stripped down with no canvas top, doortops and the wind screen laid down, but what i will say as garish as it looks it works bloody well. i am just glad my landy and my group mates landy looked good in there sand and green goodness lol

    ah np its just i got some from from a guy whos dad/grandpa was in oman but they were edited by him with the "SF block" but all i needed was some better pics of webbing

    do you have any pics of your webbing as i am gunna be making a 58 set up with US pouches aswell as the gucci set i am having modded. although i do wonder if the sterling mags would fit in a US thompson pouch used in the early part of nam and SF operations as they are of the 2 double stack type
