    Oh I want aGipsy back! My first vehicle was a G4M10. That loks like the M15 LWB version. Great to drive, you could also get front wheel drive only for occasional use. The front hubs on mine were a capstan drum design, self unbogging.

    Pardon me for be confused, but the .30/06 is a rimless round and the .303 is rimmed. The full dimesions are easily available on line. Both types are still commonly shot, and reloaded.

    check the oil pressure relif valve is seating propoerly would be my suggestion. Then coplete pump strip and rebuild. A quick thought. Might be worth chucking a bottle of oil seal expander in. A seal might have dried out.

    At least I can get out to work . Not much traffic but a lot of cyclists, dog walkers and joggers about.

    Ok so nothing specific about priming oil pump. Though may well be worth pouring some oil ove rthe filter so that it drains down and clears any airlock. Manual says Idle oil pressure 15 psi, if no reading after thirty seconds stop. Hot running oil pressure 40 to 50 psi. Have you tried cranking engine with the ignition off ? See if that builds a pressure. For future reference a US Quart is roughly 1 litre.

    yes, the curse of the 101. I'll look in the manual again. With the 101 it was change oil or change filter, Change both and if you ain't read the manual a world of hurrt! 😁

    Just had a look at the manual under trouble shooting. The recomendations are basically worn parts in oil pump, or Oil pressure relif valve not seating. I know it sounds stupid, but did you get out as much oil as you put in ? If there is a discrepancy and no leack, it must be burning it. If the same amount came out, oil pump may well be problem. Mine have run on 20/50 fine for years. I prefer the Halford's Classic 20/50. The manual gives a pump rebuild procedure

    Well I'm a KEY worker! 😇 The public are always winding me up! Seriously though, all that seems to be on the road are Cyclists, Boy Racers and wannabe Evil Kinevels! Notice though how the key workers like bus drivers, dustmen, cleanears etc are the 'Unskilled or Semi Skilled catagory 🤔

    If a firearm shotgun or airweapon is carried in a public place the rules state the trigger must be covered. On a shoulder arm , a slip obviously covers it all, on a pistol a holster. Or a canvas cover that goes over the trigger guard and action., but leaves the rest uncovered. So on a mounted Browning a canvas bag over the spade handles and around the action would work. Don't ask me! I don't make the rules! 🤣

    Especially if you keep it mounted , cover the trigger when in public.

    When not around I use motorcycle type lock chains. Nice big and obvious *** off somewhere else boy!.

    I drove an LDV three ton chassis with my bosses horse box on the back. I remember a lot of bits of that were out of the Land Rover /Ford bits box.
