  1. I don't know the date, place, or activity here but the trailer may be of interest, particularly the wheels. The photo was found in a family business collection which would suggest the truck has been loaned, hired or impressed from the business. Austin, Morris, and Bedford's were in use at the time but I can't identify this one.
  2. The Devonshire cemetery, Mametz, France. The grave. Joseph Eales.
  3. I found this clipping and photo of my late great-uncle that may be of interest. Laid to rest in Fleet cemetery. Arthur Eales on left.
  4. There was an ex military dozer on a plinth there, I want to say a Cat but can't be sure.
  5. Serendipity in Fleet, Hampshire. Closing down 30th Sept. currently 25% off label. Lots of other military bits but no time to photograph. Mineapolis Honeywell 1944 periscope £75 German field telephone £75. German ammeter and case. £75 'Bob' (?) pouch. Some form of german grenade. German battery box.
  6. I have acquired a pair of Oxford English dictionaries that have labels in the front cover stating 'NGTE Library Pyestock' dated 7/3/78. Last stamped 5/12/87. Both dust jackets present but torn and tatty. Would they be of interest to anyone before they go to a charity shop?
  7. Oh dear, yes, missed off the 'n' (now corrected). I would guess that was the route to or from the coast. Thanks for that.
  8. Most of what I have left are postcards of the area purchased around the late 1940's. Graz Schlof Velden mit Mittagskogel Klagenfurt, Lindwurm.
  9. That concludes the mv photos. I have more general ones if you like?
  10. Thanks. No idea what happened with the overturn - looked like a trailer to me.
  11. Found one with a date! 1947. Kaldenkirchan Netherlands 1947 Krefeld Salzburg
  12. Unfortunately very few of these have any notes to them. I'll include any I find.
