  1. Battlegroup North returns again on the weekend of 8-10th of May for a tenth brilliant show. There is a packed programme of events for the weekend that will include; Re enactors dioramas and displays of both the Allied and the Dark Side ! . One of the largest gathering of Military Vehicles in the north of England from WW1 to present day . A great traders area that always seems to turn up a gem or two. Weather permitting there is the BBMF Lancaster on the Saturday and Dakota on the Sunday, always a brilliant sight but even more so at Elvington as they just seem to be that bit lower there. A vehicle convoy run out on the Saturday afternoon. This is always a great chance to blag a ride out in one of a variety of military vehicles if you ask the owners nicely, from a Corgi to a newly restored Sherman the convoy will certainly have something to catch everyones eye. There is a free dance on the Saturday for all exhibitors in the NAAFI with DJ Slugger and the Hotsie Totsies playing on Saturday eve and then again on Sunday lunchtime. The Lagonda car club will be visiting Saturday with over 10 pre war Lagondas. Table top war gaming in the hanger. And of course the planes and buildings of Yorkshire Air Museum so enjoy. The organisers still have some space left now they have expanded out (the runway is 3000 metres !! ) for any groups or vehicle owners who want to display so drop them a line on the link below if you fancy popping along for the weekend. The link below has pics and info from previous years so you can see what you might have missed ! http://www.wheelsandwings.co.uk/

  11. mmmmmm so its not one of them then! Suppose it would fit in the spare wheel well but 1.3 gallons isn't going to get a lorry far ! Oh well it looks nice in the garage if nothing else .
  12. Can any one here tell me if this is the fuel can for a drop container for the corgi/wellbike at all ? It fits in a canister ok so would make sense .

Where else can you get to paddle in liquid mud whilst man handling field guns, whitness the mud mad Gordons dancing with Panzer crews and hail a GMC with pyjama clad driver at midnight ? Next years show is going to have to go some to match this year! Well done to all those who put in so much effort. Roll on next year. P.S. Stu, twinkle toes, where did that come from?
