Thanks for all in info. I have managed to locate a loke for like replacement off a landy from a bloke in Denmark. The Landy has now completed 150 miles since the MOT and as yet nothing as fallen off or broke!! Photos to follow. Matt

Thanks guys. The old one that I took out was beyond repair. I might of located a replacement but might be better off getting a bigger coat. Photo's to follow of the rebuild.

Hi All, I have recently completed a restoration of a ex-RAF 1965 SWB Series 2A Landrover. Everything is now completed and the vehicle passed it's first MOT yesterday and is now back on the road for the first time since 1999. However, I am having no luck locating a replacement circular standard Smiths heater unit. Anyone have any ideas of where I could locate one?? Matt

I remember Crusader 80 - At the time my father was a REME Sgt and was attached to a Royal Engineers unit. I may have some photos of the exercise. If i find them I will place them on.

I was stationed at RAF STAXTON WOLD and remember this Scammell - It was used as a prime mover for one of the moble radars sited there.
