  1. I need two track links from something russian; preferrably BMP, T54, T55 or T-72 They do not need to be serviceable, just visibly presentable PM me if you have something with a price Thanks! Chris
  2. Anyone got any good pics of the Chieftain hard target on Linney Head Castlemartin? I can only find one and I would like a lot more if possible this is the one
  3. I have measured the Duxford one but unfortunately misplaced some of them and its three hours each way to get some more, and other commitments won't let me do it in time
  4. I need some measurements for a scale model project, but I need them in the next 7 days not many, because I've already measured one, but I need some I missed and some I got to be confirmed Chris
  5. Hi, I'm in urgent need of help from anyone that has access to a MkII (preferable) or MkI conqueror Is there anyone in such a position that might be able to help me with some information? Thanks Chris
  6. Hi Chris I'm in Bristol But I can send drawings if you could measure for me? Its not the whole thing, just some bits and bobs like the commanders sights and other odds and ends Chris
  7. Hi, I'm a model maker and I'm working on a CVRT project. Can anyone that owns a Scorpion or Scimitar help me out either with measurements or access to measure for myself? Thanks Chris
  8. Is this the one that was in Military in Scale?
  9. Or worse still, having to make and post out 50 replacement parts. Been there done that:(
  10. To be fair, a lot of 60s war films suffer from 'stick a cross on it' disease The Big Red One is a pretty good film, but the use of Israeli super shermans for tigers at Kesserine pass is a bit iffy. Can't remember what they used to represent a tiger in the Sicily scene, but I do recall it wasn't german, or indeed WWII vintage Likewise a Bridge Too Far is quite good. Postwar Leopards doing Panther impressions aside I guess it was just the case that there was an abundance of surplus kit about when these films were being made and people were less picky in those days about the equipment used. Especially if you are filming in the US where there was easy access to hundreds of shermans M3 HTs etc, and next to no real panzers. Chris
  11. Thanks Robin I tend to pick subjects for my kits with big hatches so you can see the interiors when they are built. Not all tanks are suitable for this in 1/35 That being said, there is a gentleman building on of my churchill interiors on a production line setting which should show it off that little bit better Chris
  12. If its a Matilda II, and thats why you want to know then Mk probably won't make any difference so I wouldn't worry on that I'm afraid I don't have the weights so I'll leave that so someone that knows. I know Rex Cadman has one though, you could drop him an email If it is a MkI (matilda II MkI that is, not a Matilda (I)) I would be extremely interested to see it....
