  1. If that's you police car next to the arena.....its gonna need a clean! Dusty or what.
  2. Dont think so...I just got an email. They are a great bunch, even if you are not booked in they will probably let you in...maybe drop them an email now.
  3. I do sometimes wonder if riding a bike should be made part of passing a driving test...it would help people understand how vulnerable other road users are. Driving an old vehicle not only makes you plan ahead in traffic and for road conditions, but makes you so much more aware of what is going on. The safer you make vehicles, the more stupid people seem to become!
  4. I am sure someone has it.....they just don't dare admit it
  5. And would surely invalidate your warranty.
  6. Is redeactivating an expensive task?
  7. Get the inspection plates off, and start getting penetrating fluid onto all the bolts and hinges. At least with all the bins and interior stuff out you will have more room to work on things. Did you find it locally?
  8. Hi guy thanks for that I did see that post. The threaded part looks fine and in fact I have some M10 studding that does the same thing. I am guessing it's the internals of the locking mechanism mick
  9. Are the thick solid lines tubes of some sort? Aerials of some sort, or at least wire or cable around the outsides?
  10. Paul, what format do you want the letter of support? A word document in an email? I think you may have had an easier ride if you were across the border in Woking, their planning dept seem to be a bit more lenient...according to a builder mate, Guildford is a much harder nut to crack! Mick
  11. Does tone have a good commander seat extension thingy. The threaded bar is good, have have made sure everything is clean and free but the retention bit does not hold the seat up when any pressure is put on seat. cheers mick
  12. Once you click on "unread content", at the top right of first post there is "Condensed"
  13. Nice catch Lauren, condensed button makes scrolling through much easier I agree, did not like it at first, I also hate change, but it's growing on me. When you open a post it is easier to read now...a sign of my eyes going? Now I sit back and actually look at it creating or replying to a post appears much clearer. would be shame to lose any older members, it's tough with IT at the best of times, but I implore them to stick with it for all our sakes! Change can be good, keeps our minds active, and something to moan about
  14. Have you tried carbon assembly paste. Use it on my bike and stops things slipping....
  15. What constitutes a hybrid? you can move a Landy on its starter motor if you have it in first with the clutch up. That's electric? 😬
  16. Although the radio body is nice, I want to look at GS types first. I would also like to get one that is as complete as possible....doors etc.
  17. Are the export rules mostly the same for Belgium also?
  18. I have a ferret, fuel consumption does not scare me 😁 I am hopefully viewing one at tanks and trucks, so may have a better idea of what I am looking for after that, thanks for the offer, may take you up on it. mick
  19. Thanks for that, I was hoping it would have been easier maybe I could get seller to delver this side and the sort out transport at this end....again, need a VERY friendly seller
  20. Next question. has anyone here imported one from Holland to uk? How easy and ballpark how much cost is involved. Can I just drive one back and then register it once in uk? What would I need to set in place to get it across the channel? Any advice on getting it registered? cheers mick
  21. Hi Simon, unfortunately will not be at W&P, we are away. Will be at tanks and trucks though.
