  1. Yes in some of them, I will try and get some pictures for you.
  2. So, fitted the lights and number plate after giving the back a good coat of paint. It looks much better now. I think I will fit flat lenses in the future. I also fitted the rear right locker door.
  3. Finished making and fitting the winch brake cover.
  4. Commanders hatch. I did the hinge a bit differently, but it works fine.
  5. I did give it a go with a similar method using a bearing press, but it just wasn't good enough. I will post up my attempts latter.:undecided:
  6. I'm not. There is a tool called a bead roller for doing them, but I don't have one...... yet.
  7. Started work on some of the finer details, Hard to see two days work hear!
  8. Just finished making the seat box/winch cover
  9. Since Quads were only fitted with one brake light and one tail light, and in different locations it gives me a little bit of artistic license when bring it up to modern safety standards. I took an idea from some ww2 pictures and adapted it with period lights. One side will have the number plate on and the other will be a unit flash. Tell me what you think?

  11. Made and fitted the front roof section, and made and fitted the second window.
  12. Locker door number 2 fitted and number 3 made ready to be fitted.
  13. Thanks Andy. Most of the parts I had, cant get the rail that the window slides on though. Might have to get that made unless I can find someone with one for a door.   14. Looks like bar thread to start with and prob the Landrover Avon tire after that.
  15. Fitted some old tires to the rims, soon I will have CJ3A wheelbarrow.

  17. An unbelievable amount of research, pictures, drawings and dimensions. In some cases you just have to try it and see. :nut:
  18. The gun ring was mounted on a separate frame and locked in place.
