Do you still have all the parts and kit to return it to original !
It may help.
I sourced most of the kit from the rear in the UK. including replacement ceiling panels, and bonnet (in Holland).
-
I just try to get a decent bid in before the scrapman comes. The rear ceiling is out, strips are there. I have some extra bits in Holland from another ambulance.
-
It is a option to remove the ambulance body so you end up with a chassis and cab. Using a old 109 roof and quarter that to enlarge a roof for the project is a option. Same as building a plywood tub on it until a GS rear can be replicated.
-
The ambulance interiour went to another ambulance 13 years ago. I might have some bits in Holland in storage.
-
No one? If prices are good it can be sold in parts.
-
It stood for a while, some parts are missing but it still has the original engine and gearbox. Ambulance kit is stripped out the back as it is a stranded overland project.
Vehicle has served in the first gulfwar and has the later IFOR markings from Yugoslavia.
It was a option to have it converted to my wife's needs to fit automatic, left foot accelerator but instead she opted to let it go. Asking around £6000. Location Lincolnshire.

Well, the W&P did announce the 2023 show. The comment section did riot and now comments are turned off.

Yet they had a stand at Stoneleigh last weekend taking bookings? Very strange timing.
Take the money and run?

He will have a show, a vintage show. We will have shows, not his. A friend showed his camo caravan and I said he is ready for the W&P show, let's both not go. With Brexit I am trying to get the wife to move to Belgium or Germany to have a better life and better shows to go to.

I seem to remember, when Rex fell out with the Hop Farm and moved to Folkstone, he added the "revival" Maybe there is some legal implication regarding that change in name? However, I'll do my best to speak to or visit John over the weekend.

Didn't the Hopfarm own the War and Peace name? I have memories of that.

Having entered this show, every year from when it started in 1982 as an IMPS club display at Tenterden railway station, I feel it had lost its attraction at the last one in 2019 and vowed then, not to do it again. Many fellow members of IMPS and MVT used to go there and it was a good place to catch up, but in the last few shows at Beltring many faces are now missing. We had the best days when Rex was running it, it had good atmosphere in those days.
I have my thoughts on why this year's launch is so late ...
We have the memories, it was fun to plan and drive the old landies from Holland to the UK with all issues they threw at us at night. Boat crossing with a few that got sea sick In the harbour and the weather disasters with following mud.
Had fun in the arena, the RAF landy is owned by my wife. The next day she was by herself and I went in my dad's 109 IIa
onwards to better shows, thanks for all Rex.

If ex army, it could have had two exchange units. Same as the wife's RAF 109 had a lightweight series 3 gearbox in it at disposal.

Councils are not there for us the people. Our council lied about a proposed nuclear waste dump, they removed posters and photographed houses with protest signs. It will kill the region, but the council won't care.

Consumer rights, no it is not legal to refuse a refund. That their funds are tied is not the customers issue.

Did anyone get a refund in the end? It is your consumer right if I am correct.

That's the SAE standard and it's been that way for ages, apparently to avoid incorrect polarity. It might be a good idea to just change the connector for one that fits correctly?

24v diesel land rover, a guy did not understand that + and - could be opposed depending on battery type. He hammered the negative on the positive post, then used flat copper pipe to fill out the other side. Imagine the damage done when he tried to start it. It was a nice idea, but idiots gonna idiot.

At this rate, it be best to pack up and leave the country.

We have two 101fc ambulances, both tanks are leaking, one needs adapting to automatic and left foot accelerator pedal. The other is a power steering donor and other bits. Can I por 15 both tanks with a modification? 100L in the original location, the other tank goes above it, where the little access locations house both 50 mm rubber hoses to connect them. Ideally I need the wheel centers and have Discovery 1 outers welded to them to accommodate tubeless tyres.

Indeed it is the guy. I follow him since a year before the workshop fire. he worked wonders on those tracks, that original engine runs better than expected.
There are a few that hope his girlfriend starts tinkering some more.

DshK or a Type 54 (=chinese DshK) EU deact as one is needed to put on a T69-II tank turret.
Who can point me in the right direction?
