  1. In that case I think you'll be OK if you remove the NBC filter box - it's only bolted on. Andy
  2. The NBC filter box on the Mk.1 is the same as the Mk.2, it's only the Mk.2/1 that uses a smaller box. The dimensions over the hull plates is 2.565m - how small do you need to go? All this info is in the User Manual, by the way. Strongly recommended! :-) Andy
  3. Some pics from today's AWD Heavies event at Slab Common with the REME Museum Conqueror in attendance. Much tweaking of fuel injection settings in progress. Thanks to Andy & Co. for putting up with me! Andy
  4. Probably the most definitive list, although in need of updating, is here: http://www.project-x.org.uk/ardatabase.html Andy
  5. Sorry Andy, this shot was too good to ignore! :-) Proper pics later .... Andy
  6. I wonder if Iain has the record cards? Bovington are usually pretty helpful in that respect. Mine (08EB10) spent all its life in BAOR before coming back to the UK to be sold off. Andy
  7. 10/10 for patience, methinks! Andy
  8. That location map probably needs Germany on it as she'll have spent most of her life over there! Andy
  9. My pleasure - if there's anything specific you need, please shout and I'll see what I can do. Andy
  10. Have you got another new toy, Iain? :-) Andy
  11. I did indeed get the paint from Marcus Glenn - he does it in aerosols and the price difference didn't warrant getting out the spray gun (and cleaning it afterwards!) Andy
  12. Brush all the loose stuff off then degrease with Gunk Eco-Green. It's not 100% but a lot better than it was. In case you're wondering, I wasn't worrying about overspray onto the pack frame as it was actually sitting in a 432 frame at the time; it's a 432 to 433 pack conversion for my Abbot. Andy
  13. Are these any help? They're actually an Abbot engine and box but identical for your purposes, methinks ... Andy
  14. Beware that Marcus' batteries are the old-fashioned flooded lead acid 6NTs, not the AGM gel 6NTMFs, which are an entirely different beast - hence the price difference! Andy
  15. So that's the standard "Hawker" UK6TNMF, then? NSN 6140-99-219-2903 if it helps. I buy mine NOS from my local friendly scrapyard. Andy
  16. Iain - she's getting dusty! Time for a quick drive round, perhaps? Andy
  17. OK, so is it soft skin or isn't it? Perhaps a soft skin prototype painted up to represent one that served with the Scots Dragoon Guards? Andy
  18. I don't have an original CVR(T) Parts List, but the Stormer part should be Arm, Track Adjusting, A546588, NSN 2530-99-721-8676 if that helps. Andy
  19. Firefox 7.0.1 under Linux (Fedora 15) Andy
  20. That may not be what was actually paid for it, of course. I suspect the £100k was just to deter unwanted tyre-kickers - everything is open to negotiation! Andy
  21. I've still got the problem with the adverts overlapping the page selections on the index pages, by the way ... :-( Andy
