the mount looks like the periscope mount for the M8 tank periscope. but that lists the M39 and M46 unfortunatly the M45 is not listed in the TM 9-2300s for standard artillery and fire control material. BB

heres my problem. in "stirlings desert raiders" he makes absolutly no mention of crossing the highwy or railroad tracks. coming or going. whitch makes me think it was south. BB

I marked what I think must be the blockhouse. and measured 5 miles from the mosque to the block house.
