  5. Hello and welcome A man who likes postwar British armour, and a Humber to suit... Top of the class my boy, have a cream bun and be excused prep :-D You'll be looking for a MK 1 , for Aden, badger the Tank museum, to get rid of their MK1 and save the squirt pig in the yard   Would be nice to see an Aden pig set up, as Clive's, Paul and mine are all NI period, excluding Clive's Hornet. So what are we going to call a group of pig enthusiasts :? PIGGERS :-D :-D :-D Adam on a more serious note stay true to your heart, be not swayed or drawn by the dark side of MV ownership (ww2 Yank). We see the force is strong in you already, but be careful of the powerful one who takes on many forms known as Beckett Vader :shake: :shake: Hardyferret Pig MK1 2991 OI / 27BT92 and another as yet unidentified
  6. Welcome Mark Good to have you here and hope you enjoy the forum. Comment from 'her indoors' ref Pig or Ferret Ferrets:- are flashier and more for the man who wants to make a statement and get noticed :dunno:  Pigs:- are purposefull and well suited to the man who needs to make no statement at all (and your passengers have somewhere to put their handbag, don't risk showing their nickers trying to climb in and don't get their hairdo messed up when going for a quick spin down to the pub):-D  PS she also said 'you can fit a lot more shopping in a Pig than a Ferret BUT the Ferret is harder to attach the parking penalty notice on too' :dunno:
  7. We all reckon SHOT TO F--- Administer following remedy wire brush an dettol, raffle tickets are availiable for viewing day :-D Also regular enema's of deep bronze green will help settle the patient, and solidify his constitution. :schocked: Helpfully HF  :-D

  10. I read the post as well, and was a little hurt, as Iam a member of Dorset MVT and a member of HMVF. Do I get included, with the mud slung at Dorset? Was this a general thing or certain individuals? If so who, as I will happily bring them to task. I know one and it will surprise you Jack.. But that is for discussion out of public view. I as a member of Dorset have always backed you and HMVF, and HMVF is still linked via the Dorset MVT website, which is now up and running again. No one will gain from this HF :-(
  11. When driving in the Pig end up humming 'suspect device' stiff little fingers or The Clash 'White riot' and before anyone starts read the lyrics  Also Bowie's early stuff and Don't forget the NOIZE Noddy and co good in a pig HF
  12. When refuelling one's pig do not use the 35 litres of unleaded that one inadvertently put into one's diesel van, and then at 10.00pm had to drain into old trays etc on Texaco's forecourt. Especially when there was more than a dribble of diesel in the mix And when the pig started to smoke convinced oneself to spend a whole Saturday rebuilding the carburettor, so sure of rich mixture caused by overfuelling On a brighter note we do seem to run a lot sweeter... Now was it the carb rebuild or just draining the cheapskate witches brew I thought I'd own up before rumour control blows this out of all proportion.... Silly Billy HF
  13. Don,t do as I do Do as I say Anyway, that,s this modern romper suit stuff, not proper 68 patt. :-o I thimk Neil cuts a fine line, that air of authority, among the sprogs and remf's :-D Go for it Neil lets all grow old disgracefully... ;-) JUST LIKE JACK   HF
  14. [ Ther you go then Jack :-D Mrs Hardyferret cross posting AGAIN :schocked:
  15. Jack sweetness, Why not have some dainty little pink Tupperware containers, placed strategically to catch oil. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes and packs of ten...... But possibly you may want more capacity? Being American? I have some 45 gall drums we could cut down. :dunno: Or some pieces of old plywood, takes ages to soak thru, and you just drive over it. :-D Yours helpfully Hardyferret :-D :-D :-D
  16. Mark that is not funny, very poor taste for a Sunday. A Jimmy, Oh goodey, I get to use my Britool spanners evryday   Wonder if Mrs HF would like a Stolly, trips up wareham river ;-) and Poole park HF :-D :-D

Beware the Wareham chinky Hok man lam works there, went to school with him. he'll take no prisoners I was hoping we could invade Nellie crumb's ye olde tea shoppe.... or the five and a dime cafe next to the Rex flea pit cinema   You've no sense of humour pinkie one  Or we could play swap the rat pack :-D HF  :dancinggirls:
  23. Yes, very good Bodge  :nono: Now get back to work
  24. Ahhh the Yank adaptor, after getting one and looking at it and talking to various owners there is an issue with the seal seat area, where the new spin on filter has to bear against the groove and original cannister seal, which I have looked at, inconjunction !!!! With a learned friend. The original does the job, but as we all know how much oil do you want to slop around and the seal can and do leak, which I've experinced and others. Also those bat wing filters are no way as efficient as modern filters. Regards HF :-D :-D
  25. Iam judging interest from you all on a kit to replace the c$ap original filter and bowl, with an adaptor/ and plate to allow the use of a modern spin on filter. This is a reversable mod if you wanted to go back at some point to original. This filter head is common to Champ Ferret Pig Saracen Saladin etc There has been an adaptor produced before BUT had a number of issues which this kit addresses. A firm price is not possible until numbers are known but far from extortionate and will allow the use of a spin on at approx £10 !! Regards Hardyferret :-D
