  3. Hi All, I must appologise, Ive been unindated with emails & phone calls. The main problem I have, is two fold, a lot of the parts a'rnt labeled which doesn't help with identification. And the fact I don't own either a QL, MW, OY Austin K5, Fordson wot etc etc. Makes the task, a hell of a lot harder. Obviously I can relate, to external body panels. Engine/brake parts etc, is a hell of alot harder, to identify. So please bare with me. The whole point of saving the vehicles from the scrap yard, was to give them the best chance to be restored as possible, hence once all the vehicles, have been sold. I'll give the protential buyers, first refusal of the parts, they need to aid in the restoration of said vehicle. After that I will try & help as many vehicle owners as possible. Regards stu
  4. Hi Ian, yes I have two Austin K5 Grills in very good condition. I'll save them for you. Regards stu
  5. Hi John, yes that's the yard. Alas I'm being told, it's being cleared as we speak. If only I had another 24 hours, we could have cleared the lot. The 3 ex Royal Navy marked, Austin Ten staff cars would have been nice to save. Let alone all them lovely tires on rims. Cheers stu
  6. Hi 79 x 100 thanks for your comments, at the moment only Classic Mitary vehicle magazine are interested !! Found two Austin K5 front grills plus surrounds today, in good condition. Cheers stu
  7. Already tried mate ! Next time u buy your razors or open a can of soap think ! Found some wartime radio books & a mic in the QLR today. I wish I had the space for it I'd restore it myself. I didn't realise, how big the radio mount is !! I hope it goes to a good home, and they don't rip it all out, and turn it into a camper. Ill gladly email pics to anyone who's interested. Cheers stu
  8. To be fair, a lot of people have tried to retrieve the vehicles. It's only because, they were forced to sell them. That I was able to buy the lot. I'm personly not keeping anything, from the lot. Interestingly I found a receipt today, from Ruddington for the sale of some QLs.
  9. It has one very small tear, apart from that its in excellent condition. Cheers stuart
  10. My good friend Glynn Berresford came round last night. He was alittle overwhelmed to say the least lol. It would help, if I could post pics !!
  11. The Wot 6 was advertised for sale, on eBay. That's how I learnt about the vehicles.
  12. I can't really tell you, much about it. The scrap yard in Leeds, has been bought by Audi. I was enishally told, I had 2 1/2 weeks to clear the yard, then last weds evening, I recieved a call stating the contract was going to be signed on Monday 17th Nov, anything left in the yard, after that point, would legally belong to Audi. We spent all day sat & sun, retrieving as much military gear, as possible. Alas we ran out of time, to receive the 3 x RN marked Austin Ten staff cars, Morris Commercial C8 & a post war Austin MRA1. Special tanks must go to Craig of Hindle Transport & Iain Mulley of IJM Restorations. Stu
  13. Hi Mike, your right regarding the Tipper, having just looked at my own reference books. Sorry for misleading anyone. Having only seen the vehicles being pulled out and loaded. I haven't had time, to look at any of them closely. Im looking at the parts first, as I need my shed back :-) chhers stu
  14. Many thanks for posting the pics Hanno. More boxes opened today, mainly manifolds, brake parts & six fuel tanks. Will open some more tomorrow. Stay tuned lol stu
  15. I did mate thanks. I'm sorting the vehicles out first, then coming back to the parts.
  16. Just found some nos carbs, fuel pumps & petrol tanks !! Sadly I'm no expert, to say there QL apart from the petrol tanks.
  17. Thanks mate ! There's only a nos MCC fuel pump. Cheers stu
  18. I did indeed ! Hanno has kindly offered, to put a load of pics of the scrap yard vehicles plus spare parts, up on the forum for everyone to enjoy. This is by no means all the spare parts, having just found some nos Bedford QL windscreens & manifolds. Serious interested parties, can view the vehicles, by prior appointment. And don't forgot, we have a lot of spare parts for the QLs. Inc Nos windscreens, wings, mudflaps, doors, 11.0 x 20 tires on rims etc etc. Cheers stu
  19. Basically I'm wanting to sell the QL Tipper, QLR & the Wot 6 as complete restoration projects. What way they have a lot better chance, of being saved. Which is the main reason I saved them in the first place. Once these vehicles, have been sold, ill sort the parts out. Overwise ill end up with aload of scrap vehicles. The Bedford QLR, Besford Tipper & the Wot 6 are very complete vehicles with bodies. Plus a lot of spares, to back them up with. If anyone is interested, in any of the above, please contact me at stuart.wright@hotmail.co.uk cheers stu
  20. Lol Craig ! All the parts are Bedford QL & a few Wot 6 parts. The only MW parts are NOS engines. Obviously I'm sure there will be some cross over between MW & QL parts ?? Sadly I don't know how to upload pics. More than happy, to email pics to someone who can upload them, for the forum members. There's so many parts to identify, it's hard for me know what's what. New parts found are nos QL tarp covers. Stu
  21. We do ! Hopefully it'll all be going to new homes shortly. Cheers stu
