  1. Hi Nik, I'm also building the Scammell pioneer. Used this site a lot and downloaded a lot off close up photo's from de restorations . But on network 54 Missing Linx there is on the Allied WW2 forum a discussion about the mistakes IBG made. And apart from those there is a lot of detail missing. The base is good but there is room for some improvement. On the same site under constructive comments i have started wip Scammell IBG ,there are already some photos. Hope this helps some . cheers, Tom
  2. When i rode my WLA some 20years back i had the same problem. The fix was quite easy, you need to get 2 new ballbearing balls open the oilpump ,take out the old ball ,take one of the new ones drop it on the seat have fitting piece of rod and hit it with a hammer so that you resurface the seat. Take out the ball put in the second one and put the rest of the pump back together. That should fix the oil from going to the sump. The other thing i did was fitting a "sahara crankcase breather" ,the standard one is just a plate with a small piece of pipe in the sidecover. The sahara one runs up to just under the tank (along the front frametube) and down again to the height of the footrests. This prevents the oil spilling over your exhaust and skidplate,if the first part didn't work.:red: Hope this is of some help. cheers, Tom
  3. Hi Nik, I have a drawing of the truck your looking for. If you send me your mail adres i'll mail it to you. cheers, Tom
  4. Dear Bob, I'm a modeller from Holland and i was wondering if you have any line drawings /blueprints of the CDF.Or some more photo's would also be great. I'm thinking of scratchbuilding on in 1/35 scale Goodluck with the build best regards, Tom de Kruijff
  5. Hi there , I 'm looking for photo's or drawings that show howe the ammobox for the Vickers was placed in the turret of the Rolls Royce AC 1920 patern. Anybody who knows? cheers, tom
  6. Hi, Don't know if the next site was known to anybody ,but there where alot of RR armoured car pictures on it. But not the ones i'm looking for.So maybe anyone here has one of the top of the turret with the scarf(?) ringmount for the lewis gun cheers, Tom
  7. HI , On the photo, in the URL attached ,of this RR is a AA-ring on the turret.I would love to know what the changes where they made to the turret top. It seems to me that there is a opening further to the back of it compared to the original hatch placement. Is there some one out there with a photo of the top? Thanks for reading this. cheers, Tom http://rafarmdcarcomp.multiply.com/photos/album/1/Photo_Collection_-_RAF_ACCs#61>1920 Pattern Rolls of No1 ACC in the Western Desert it's picture 61 i talk about.
  8. Thanks for your nice welcoming words. I put a few pics in a album called: 1:35 allied military stuff.Didn't know where els to put them. Hope this is good so. cheers, Tom

Now i'm in military modelling 1:35 scale .And i hope to use your site as a source for pictures and info of the armour that i build.Which is Western ALLIED WW2 . British ,Commenwealth ,US, Canadian,Polish even because they where a part of the forces that liberated us (the netherlands) in 1945. cheers ,Tom A little update ,i now own a WLC 42 which is being "restored " to working order.
