  1. Yes Ron, you might want one too, they are being made for Jeeps, and can be ordered here in the US, comes at a price though. Shop – Mifflinburg Body & Gear Ltd. Co. (g518parts.com) Cheers, Lex
  2. Need to get some better battery terminals, but hope to buy some, coming weekend in the UK. Lex
  3. Little update, ordered a Willard battery case from the US, took a while to arrive, as I had it sent to a forwarder, but once in Holland, and when I picked it up, I immediately fitted it, and like it a lot! Needs to have a little packing under the case, to lifting it about 3/4" up, and the nuts will be not so far down on the hold down rack. Cheers, Lex

Nice Ron! doesn't the Enfield C has a mid cable adjuster in the valve lifter cable? Will it have a centrally mounted speedo? Cheers, Lex

Nice progress Ron! Hope the clutch will work! Putting new corks in the C10's clutch didn't make it any better, hope with the new fangled space material it will be better! Cheers, Lex
  7. Here an easy formula to make 4BO, from the Drab it FB page. Will see if they have a formula for 3B too. (nope!) Lex
  8. Buy the book "British Forces Motorcycles" it says in the back, where the bikes went to, well if known ofcourse. Matchless G3L's were also used by the RAF. Cheers, Lex
  9. Ok, nothing there, with a quick search through the excellent book "British Forces Motorcycles" a must for the collector! But if you misread the number, and it is in fact C4582232 or similar, then it would be a Norton 16H. Cheers, Lex
  10. Picture would have been far easier, but I'll check in a minute! Cheers, Lex
  11. OK, thanks Tom, but it's probably another one, as this has been together most of it's life, all was a bit rusty! Cheers, Lex
  12. Tom, Just read this again, and I recently acquired ML758 from Scotland, could that have been your brothers? or are you sure about the number ML728? Just trying to find out about the history on my bike. Cheers, Lex

Good show! reminds me of the rockerbox on the G3WO, you'd think it impossible to fit with the engine in the frame, but it's doable if you know the trick. Lex
  14. Yes, my first thought was James too, with those engine mounts. Cheers, Lex

Hi guys, Yes, it's again impossible to buy the rubber cable, a real nuisance! I may be able to do it, but need to order over 750 quid's worth, I am skint once more, so will not happen soon. Even the guy on Ebay is out of it, it seems. Cheers, Lex

Ron, with the modern fuel, I always time my engines a bit more advanced, so wouldn't worry about it. Cheers, Lex

  20. The ballast boxes of the red one are on mine now, as they were in perfect condition! Lex
  21. It's totally unacceptable!! cannot use it like I used to do, please get rid of it! Cheers, Lex
  22. And the dozerblade, this came from somewhere else, can't remember! Lex
  23. Well, there were basicly 2 wrecks, and one good one was made of them, here some pictures, the orange one came from the UK, but no details as to how, when and where, the red one I got from California, and was in very good order, but no engine. Lex
  24. Yes, I know, but he also paid a lot I believe. Anyway let me know if you do buy it, I have a lot of pictures still. Lex
  25. Yes, that used to be mine, was in a terrible state, but complete when I sold it to the UK, But think it needs some more work, and is therefore on the high side. But on the plus side it was in Oosterbeek, Holland, before my own one was ready! Clark Airborne Dozer (milweb.net) Cheers, Lex
