    mine would sream in top but when i changed the clutch it stop. i found the rivets had worn on the clutch:D

    You could turn the crown wheel around and run on the back face if you are that worried. Running on the front axle for a long time the transfer box will get f#####g hot. And on big hills when the roads are wet you will loose grip(been there done that):cool2:

    I moved one without a pinion in and had to stop to block up the hole cos of al the oil coming out. so it gets lots of oil up around the pinion. My oil is bronze colour.

    looking good. you dont have to take the front cross member out just angle the engine lower at the back. i have done 5 or 6 engines like this.

    i dident cut the centre panel in mine just the floor cross member i had to move back to get the eaton housing in for the double platted clutch. and a little hole in the floor to turn the clutch pedal arm upside down so it would lift on the clutch housing. and i can get the clutch out without taking the engine out.

    yes it stops the rubber wedges from falling out if they come loose:)

    graham germany has a land rover size prop on his for a good few years now with no problems and mark is running a 265 rolls on a land rover prop.

    hi you have been hard at work. you could put a propshaft between the engine and gear box.

    you could put the spring brake inplace of the air ram and you should get better brakes aswell as the handbrake.

    i was talking to the chap who andy got the engine of and he said it was a 290 not a 325. hows the brakes? have you took that airpack of what andy put on for the handbrake.

    hi does anyone know about the brakes on a 2 ton rubfry owen trailer air over hydrolic on the front axle.

    there is a foden that goes past where i work and thats got a 400hp cat in it and that does sound nice:cool2:

    mine was good until i had to change the gears and hubs on this side. one of the gears broke and locked it up solid a few year ago:(

    no the seals was ok but fitted new ones it was the fulcrum pin loose and had to strip down and tighten up:-(
