  1. Aside from TANKFEST, there are three opportunities to see the vehicles of the Royal Armoured Corps in action during 2020. Dates: 7 March, 13 June, Autumn date TBC General admission rates apply and Annual Passes are valid. The Display will be in the Kuwait Arena at 3pm and last approximately 45-60 minutes. Please note, this event is run by the Royal Armoured Corps Training Regiment, not The Tank Museum.

    On the 15-16 February, over 2 days the Tank Museum will be inviting exhibitors from across the UK to exhibit their models throughout the Museum. Boats, Cars, Plane, Trains, Military Vehicles and, of course, Tanks! Book online for reduced prices. Annual Passes are valid for this event. Models and modelling paraphernalia on sale, suitable for novices up to the experienced modeller Demonstrations from traders throughout the day Tank Museum volunteer modellers will give you expert tips and tricks Please note: due to the nature of the event, there will be a limited number of Museum tours and talks taking place throughout the day.     October Half Term 26th October 2019 – 3rd November 2019 10:00 am – 5:00 pm This October Half Term explore The Tank Museum and experience the biggest day out in history! 10 Powerful Exhibitions, 300 tanks and 100 years of armoured warfare - great for families of all ages. Special Half Term activities include Paint a Tank, meeting a WWI cavalry horse, and an Archive and Library Show and Tell. PLUS at 1pm every weekday, enjoy a car display including chase from armed forces rehabilitation charity, Future Terrain. Kids can also let off steam in our outdoor and indoor soft play areas, adjacent to our Café, explore deeper with free trails and tours, or dress up!     Summer Holidays 20 July – 1 September This Summer Holiday explore The Tank Museum and experience the biggest day out in history… See Tanks roll into action at 1pm every weekday, starting on Monday 22nd July. Realistic lifelike explosions and expert commentary. Learn how tanks have evolved and how they are used in battle in this action. Experience for yourself the thrill of riding in an M548 tracked vehicle. This working example of military hardware seats 16 at a time – so the whole family can jump on together. Available every day, 11.30am - 4.30pm, during the holidays, a £4.00pp charge applies. Take part in a range of family activities. Kids can also let off steam in our outdoor play area and in our new inside soft play area, adjacent to our Café. Plus free family trails to keep them absorbed with teasers and puzzles!
