  1. I am looking for information about the Map Lamp that was mounted in Signals 101 above the windscreen.20220805_145649.thumb.jpg.8b9d69dd244d457f48c671f5afa64020.jpg

I've never seen a picture of one. The Power Supply is from the 24v Power Interface Box on the radio rack, from where the cables are layed throught the body to the windscreen.

To the right is a clamp attached, so it seems that it was some kind of gooseneck map lamp.

Anyone here with information or pictures of it?

  2. Does anyone know something about the roof antenna mounts from the Land Rover 1t Signals for Radio Rebroadcast?

    As far as I know:

    A, B, C, D were for Clansman VHF Radios (353, 353Z)

E was for Clansman HF Radio (321)

But my Rover has a sixth antenna mount on the roof (marked with orange '?') and I have no idea for which purpose. Maybe someone can help.

The Mountings inside can only hold 5 Radios in the lower rack and 2 DMUs with IBRU in the upper.

  4. For sale is a Racal MA-4224 Radio Crypto Unit.

It is a voice scrambler to be connected to combat net radios with a 7pin cable.

I sell it as "untested", but I connected a modified cable, pins according to the MA4224 manual, to a VRC353 and it powered up and the LED lid. Audio was also available.

For sale ist just the unit, I have no correct cable for the unit.

300 GBP ono + shipping from Germany

  5. The most common fault with the ANR headsets is that the internal ANR module, which contains the loudspeakers, is faulty.

I also had various green PTTs that were not able to power the ANR headsets.

You can check between Pin C and E on the Audio socket of the Crewbox, if 18-28v is available.

From memory, SCRA(T) = Single Channel Radio Access (Terminal) meaning it was the terminal equipment... basically, a mobile phone mounted in a land rover!

Yes, exactly. It is the Terminal equipment and I got it nearly complete.

I just saw your post with this overview picture:

So these seem to be the codes for a multi-set installation, combined with Clansman.

Does anyone have a source for one of the mentioned numbers 63646 to 63677?

  7. I am looking for Army Manuals/ AESPs about the installation of an SCRA(T) into a Land Rover 110 (Truck Utility Medium). I am sure they exist, but I couldn't even figure out the correct number of the manual.

Does anyone has some information or even the specific manual?

I already have the Land Component Handbooks for SCRA and the Ptarmigan System Overview, where they are mentioned.
