  1. Thanks for the information. I am getting ready to put in my freshly rebuilt 1952, 25 hp engine. I am just waiting on a generator and carburetor to arrive from Germany.
  2. Back in 2000, I bought this vehicle in Germany and have been restoring it a little at a time. It was delivered to Vehicle Coy 151, Lippstadt, Germany on 13 September 1952. I am trying to find any information about the use of this vehicle and possibly who the vehicle was assigned to.
  3. It was really that fun being in any Military stationed in Germany during the 80s. I loved every minute of my tour in Germany.
  4. Hello, I have been trying to restore my 11E to its former glory. I have included a pic of my car. Did your car go to Vehicle Coy 151 as well?
  5. Hello Everyone, My name is Joseph, but I go by Joe. I was in the U.S. Army for 26 years as an airborne, Infantryman. I have owned two military vehicles the first was a 1970 M151A2 Army Jeep (sold) and the second is a 1952 11E Military Volkswagen used by Vehicle Coy 151 in Lipstedt, Germany. I have been told by many people that this is a very rare Volkswagen. I would like to find more information about my vehicle and if possible who's vehicle this was back when it was used by the British Army. Thanks, Joe
