It has been suggested i get a speaker for the kit including a 351 and 320 to listen to chatter on shows.

I have the bought the speaker as below, sold as a clansman speaker, looking for the right cable.

Also i assume the cable would fit in where the head piece would be

Just picked up 2 of these, does any one have a maintenance manual for them? so i can work out changing washers etc.

Also does anyone have a clear picture of the label that would be attached to the stove

Many Thanks, I got a flame coming out like a flame thrower may have to clean the nozzle.

Got the base painted and the "burner" heads, the steel fabricator has returned the lid with handles fixed.

The tank etc now also bolted back on the base

Was talking to a gent the other day and he asked if the torch had a soldering rod, i wonder if this cup thing was for that?

Painted and restored sounds good, only changed the pump cup, the 2 washers, got it going and flame everywhere, used the pricker and it goes a treat

Following a visit to Acworth Scammel l Rally and seeing the Ferret with a Number 2 Stove strapped to the rear I though t I would start this thread.

The hope is that we can build up a library of field cooking and pictures of cooking stoves being stored on vehicles and in use.

Hopefully we can get recipes used as well, maybe even just old menus from ration packs.

Its a wide and open ended subject and hopefully will have a lot of contributions, even recollections.

This is also for history of the cooking vessels etc.

Visited today and was pleasantly surprised on the collection of Military.

First time have seen a stove and pot and pan on a vehicle, the owner advised that the original burn marks were still under the paint

About to sort these at last, hate it when work gets in the way.

Would they be treated with, polish, linseed oil or something else, personally thinking of linseed oil as they may be used in the open and rain

Many thanks, yes think this is DBG but when you are close to the issue some times you cant see the wood from the trees, i do have some No2 which are matt

Just having acquired yet another stove built about 1975, i was trying to identify the paint on it.

I had some Deep Bronze green left over and sprayed the leg but am not convinced it is a similar match.

Can anyone advise?
