Hello welcome to the forum. Shorland SB401 is the best vehicle out there in my opinion but I am slightly biased as I own one ! Clive is a mine of information but if there is anything else you need to know in relation to the Sholand and parts etc please just ask. Most of the running gear is Stage 1 v8 landrover and in many cases quite hard to find. Drop me a pm if need be and would love to see another saved regards Paul

Sorry for the late post of this one but I only got confirmation of the dates last night and the organisers approval to post on here. The Yesteryear Festival is taking place on the weekend of the 10th / 11th September at Collop Gate Farm , Heywood near Bury, OL10 2PX. The festival is a charity event for Springfield Hospice but of more interest to us its also a "play day" event for military vehicles. The farm is owned by Melvin Cordwell and his son and all of their toys will be out playing on the huge fields plus anyone else that wishes to attend . Think of an "arena" big enough to get Centurion tanks travelling at full pelt and you get the idea. Always a good turn out of heavy armour. Centurions, Chieftains, Abbots, 432s, Antars, AVREs, etc etc Camping is available on site as are showers and toilets. The more military vehicles that attend the more public attend and so therefore the more for the hospice. If you search on the net for Yesteryear Festival Heywood you will get an idea of the stuff that turns up. Can someone please advise how the bulkhead on a snatch is armoured. Is it a standard bulkhead with an armoured one then bolted on one side or a complete composite unit with no original steel bulkhead required . Trying to figure out why they would fit effectively 2 bulkheads Paul
