Thanks for that. I found those, and they're mainly pictures of restoration work, which although very interesting, aren't really what we're after. There are a couple of shots of restored vehicles though - I've sent a PM to the poster to ask permission to use them.

Good morning everyone. A German author and good pal of mine is looking for pictures what he describes as the HUMBER SCOUT CAR for a new publication. I've referred him to the IWM collection and pathé news, but he's looking particularly for modern pictures, taken at shows or re-enactments. Are there any on the "circuit"? Anyone have any pictures please? Hagen is always meticulous in crediting the source of pictures - I've helped him out a couple of times before.

Thank you Tony, thank you Ron. First response was to reccomend Hagen to the Tilly register, and to send him a link to the same. He loves your photo Tony, and asks for a better resolution copy please - he needs the pictures for printing, ultimately, and not for web use. If anyone out there has a Morris Tilly that they'd be happy to give pictures of or to have photographed, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks again chaps.

Good morning gents. The Living History camp at Ver sur Mer (Gold Beach) organisation is now in full swing, so if you want to arrange a meet-up there, (probably 7th or 8th June?) you'll all be more than welcome. As I said way back, we have extra space this time, and it would be nice to fill it!

Tony, if you can find me one at that sort of money (£10k max) I'll buy it. Won't get a Humber for that sort of money, I know, but an MW maybe? Hope all is well with you mate one or two pals in Ver have asked after you.

C1 has just been painted, and it now looks OK. I met the lads who were over there to do it at a ceremony on Saturday - from 62 sqn RE on a "battlefield tour". Their OC reckoned it was the only way he could get it done........Sadly where it's placed it will need doing again for next year.

Tony, you know fine well what I mean. Part of the hire conditions for the balloon are that it is "supervised" once aloft, and brought down in case of high wind or thundery activity. Jean-Pierre, bless him, has asked if we'll help with that, as we'll be on site. So I'm looking for a crew of BOPs (Pam tells me that the WAAFs who did such things were known as that - like OWLs I guess!) I had noticed the figures in the sleds on Eddie's picture by the way - my point was that I'm sure Porpoises were used as extemporised transport, too.
