Hello all, Found this photo of my late grandpa Alan Wormald spraying a truck at RAF Marham in 1948, a CMP truck of some sort? Not seen that body on one either-small workshop body perhaps? Also, anyone know what the 'G.587' refers to - building number? The text on the photo & below it reads; MAR.G.587 13-5-48// SPRAYING BAY IN USE RAF MARHAM 1948 ALAN Regards

Hi Guys I'm building a LRDG Truck, Based on a Chevrolet Pickup, as per the original, I'm using a Chevy C15 front Axle. I've changed the front Spring Hanger to a CMP type, this has changed the way it mounts as the pickup uses a front mounted shackle and I can only think the CMP C15 uses a rear mounted shackle, but I can't find any pictures or diagrams. Plus I've not seen a Chevy C15 4x2 since I wanted to look at one (sods law:-)) can any one Help with Pics or allow me to view yours. Also I may need some spares, Front axle shackle and pins, Plus I'm after 4 speed box (that mounts the handbrake) and a R/H Bell housing (must be able to take the pedal mount) for a 216 engine. Cheers Bob

Hi everyone! QM here, from Holland... what a great forum i must say! for some time now i have been interested in USA ww2 material. i have a closed cab GMC CCKW which is great fun to drive and has great patina to it... but then i realised that most of Holland was liberated by Canadian and british troops... so now, i would like to make a 180degr turn... step 1: who would like to own a GMC CCKW? i prefer to swap it with something british... should i post a topic in the ad section? grt

Hi folks I currently have a part share in a C60L CMP with a wrecker body, which currently needs at least a new engine block, any info on a possible replacment engine or at least block for a 216 engine would be much appreciated? I also have recently acquired a Commer Q4 3ton 4x4 tipper for which I'm looking for any information on these vehical's especially how to find out some history of mine? I'd also like to try and track down and refit a winch to this vehical's as at some time the original one has been removed and any information on we're to locate service parts like filters and brake parts? Thanks in anticipation of some assistance.
