1. Hi everyone. I'm doing somewhat of an overhaul on the cooling system of our WC53 Carryall after sitting for many years unused. The current setup doesn't appear to have a thermostat. Do you have any recommendations on how to approach this? I've heard whispering that people do run them. Are they necessary? My new water pump has arrived and there is a threaded hole in the top of it which lines up with a funny bypass in the top neck that feeds the radiator. Is this provision for a thermostat? Before, there was a small rubber hose with a cap that fed water straight through to the old pump. Here's a photo! Any help would be much appreciated. There is a lot to clean out and I'm quite close to taking the motor apart. The rubber all needs replacing and so do the two steel pipes. I'm planning to try flushing it all first with new rubber and a thermostat before proceeding further. The radiator all cleaned out well, as well. Here are some more photos :-D
2. I came across a genuine colour WW2 photo (I think). I'm in the process of looking for markings for my WC51 and I also am a keen user of Vintage WW1 and WW2 photographic film equipment. When I saw this I reckon I can combine the 2 things. The Dodge seems to have a PHOTO marking on bumper. This vehicle could belong to the photographer who took this picture. If anyone knows of a Dodge that was used by War correspondents or photographers, I would be very grateful of info. My pictures are on the web and details of camera equipment. Google "Ikonta Bloke"
3. Does anyone know where i can get parts to repair a D60 Dodge Tipper? particularly cab parts, even a replacement cab, I know it's a long shot but if you don't ask . . . She's in a pretty sorry state so really anything is of help. If there's any model that has the same front end? Tom

5. I have these running boards but not sure what Dodge they are off. The left one is 40.25 inches long x 15.3/8 wide at the front and the right is 42.1/2 inches long x 14.3/4 wide. anyone know?
6. If you have a build card how did you pay? Did you send a UK cheque or money order and if so where did you get it. Thanks.
7. Apologies now for any mix ups, mess ups, spelling mistakes or general lack of knowledge as this is my first posting! First things first - does ANYONE know the whereabouts of a Bedford MWR reg DEL399 these days???? I restored this little truck back in he early eighties and sold it to a guy in Warminster in probably '83 or '84 (I can't really remember, the old grey matter isn't what it used to be!) I've never seen or heard of it since and just wondered whatever happened to it? Secondly, I am considering selling my current Military vehicle - a 1963 Dodge W200 Powerwagon (Fargo style or Sweptline style) ex USAF Ambulance. Its a pretty rare truck and worthy of a good home. She did drive well (ask my brother about scaring buses) but hasn't been on the road for a few years now. "Needs a bit of work" I think is the official description! Any interested parties let me know and I will organise further details and pics etc.

9. My Command Car was a wreck when I bought it in the early 90's and the battery box and boot hinge were not genuine. A couple of jobs I rushed to get it on the road have been driving me nuts ever since, As I'm repairing the running board I would like to make a better looking hinge and I need to know the position of the 5 captive nuts in the running board. As for the boot lid the hinge has been held in place by self tapping screws because I replaced a lot of the rear end, could anyone give me the measurements of the captive nuts in the floor that hold the hinge. Thanks Mike

(Please excuse flash as its a pic of a pic) Anyone recognise this weapons carrier ? this picture was taken in the Blackpool tower circus ring, itwas used for a corporate event in the mid eighties.
