Hutch3674 Posted July 2, 2017 Share Posted July 2, 2017 (edited) Just a quick update and progress report for my last trip home...All 6 recently purchased wheels (HMLC Stalwart) have been stripped down, tyres, inner tubes & rust flaps removed for refitting in the near future. Tyre bashing was fun with limited equipment, I managed to salvage a brand new inner tube Marked 1965 W.D (War Department I think) and the rust flaps also were in great shape. So I hope to have several spares to keep me on the road in the future. The 6 rims are now on Flee bay for a little cashback I hope). Next trip home I am hoping to refurbish wheels and brake drums, after the gardening is done of course (Not).
