    Default York Model railway show

Was on a stand at York Model Rly show today.
One of the stands is Overlord showing a D Day dockside with vehicles ready for loading.
    Some photos here.

Differs very much from the norm. Makes me wonder about the builders history or family connections with that era or scenario.

So it is. I couldn't work out what it was. Quite a few oddities in the line up. A shame as it is a super model.
Some say the cup is half empty, while others say it is half full. However, in my opinion both are wrong. The real problem is the cup is too big.

I googled the layout and these files came up.

As for vehicles being of the right type.
The basic premise to me is If its a military layout and you have a military model dated within 10 years then I don't think the average punter would know the difference.
    I probably wouldn't.

Are most of the vehicles kits? If so many hours work to build and paint them.

That feels a bit ghoulish, I seem to remember several fatalities in that one.
