garys39
I think it's from a Waco Glider. http://www.questmasters.us/CG-15A.html Regards Gary
Adrian Barrell
It's a standard compass, fitted in many things.
Chris Hall
Oddly enough the compass is usually one of the first things to be liberated from a cockpit once an Aircraft is surplus. I sold the last RAF GR1 2 years ago and I had a lot of phone calls from Aircrew asking if they could have the compass out of it. Unfortunately photos had been taken recording the condition so that sealed bids could be placed so the cockpit remained intact (As intact as it was at the time of the photos). Gordon_M
Pioneer Bendix core. Found in bigger housings in DUKW, Weasel, amongst many others.
Enigma
Thanks for the answers. I am pleased to have it, now I only need a Waco, Dukw or Weasel.
