Ron
Does anyone know for sure what the markings mean on the front mudguards of these James ML's (Looks like 1A) and similar markings on Flying Flea tanks (Looks like C1A) Ron
Sean N
Ron, bit of a guess but if these are new or newly issued bikes might they be storage markings for (reliability) Class 1A?
Ron
Sean that is an assumption that myself and others have made. But as you say, "it's a guess" just wondering if someone might know for sure. Ron
Sean N
Hello Ron, didn't think you'd have missed that one but just putting my thoughts in anyway! Clive might be the chap for this, or Wally, if they see it.
fv1609
The assumption of Class seems perfectly reasonable, but I appreciate Ron you are looking for specific instructions that they will be marked in a particular way. This is all I can offer & it would seem reasonable that vehicles would be marked with the Class that was easily identifiable. However there is no "A" sub-class. I just wonder whether the suffix might indicate what kit was provided with the vehicle?
