windsorguyone
Hi all, Restoring a '44 Triumph 3hw and was having trouble tracking down brake shoes for front and back. I have read that they are interchangeable with shoes from 60's era triumphs... does anyone know if: 1) is this true? 2) what shoes I can replace these with for front and rear? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Ian
Ron
Ian. Referring to this site to cross reference the old numbers to the later Triumph numbering systems. http://www.tri-corengland.com/ I make it that 3HW shoes W393 Front and W93 Rear, are New numbers 37-0393 F, and 37-0093 R. I can't see anything post war that is the same. Maybe you can do better with these part numbers? Regards Ron PS have you tried Les at 'Russell Motors' in Battersea? Phone only 02072281714. no internet Edited February 23, 2017 by Ron

windsorguyone
Hey Ron, I am still struggling to find front brake shoes for my Triumph 3hw project. Do you have any other suppliers you think may have them? Ian
