Cab Haeting for 110 Land Rover

Surveyor

Recommended Posts

Having sat down and gone through Haynes, Land Rover 110 workshop manual, parts handbook and trawled the web I come to ask those more mechanically minded than me for help.

There are 2 levers at the driver side, one for heat and one for the direction of air flow, no matter what position I put them in they immediately return to the midway position, also they feel stiff.

At the moment I am thinking I may need to remove and sort out the air handling unit as I assume this is where they both lead to.

Has any one experienced this problem and if so is there and easy answer for a man who until recently lifts the bonnet and went "yup its and engine" honest I am getting better looking after this Landie

Probably the cables.

I had to change mine (inner and outer) recently as I had a similar problem. Simple enough to change just tape the new on to the old one and pull through.

Thanks, will look at when I get it back from the sprayers, just need to work out where al bits go to and from, will take time as don't want to loose anything, at least I have an electrical pull through if needed
