Ian McC
And as a spectator I agree it looked great. Hugely impressive to see vehicles like that out on the road. Congratulations to all concerned and loads of credit to Jack for pulling it together. See you all again next time! Ian
greyhound32122
being my very first A&E my self and my co driver thoroughly enjoyed every minute from leaving home friday morning to getting back sunday evening. massive pat on the back to the organisers and every one who attended as this was a massive team effort and i do hope that Adrian & Jim manage to push Jack to doing it all again in the near future. Degsy
Must have been a big disappointment to the organisers and sponsors to only have 3 gun tanks after the pre-event publicity promised 10. I'm well aware of maintenance issues etc but seems very unfair of so many owners to let Jack and co down.

Sadly we had a death, health issues, maintenance issues and two being sold. Those owners that could make it still came with other vehicles, god bless them :-)

Jack
The whole event went like clock work. Crossing the ford was fantastic and we had a great time at the Tank Museum. Arriving at Dorchester was impressive and to see thousands of people pouring out of bars and shops to talk to everyone, just made my day. Jim and Adrian had worked so hard on this event - and it showed.
Adrian Barrell
Was the campsite really that sloped or has Rosie been at the wine?
Packhow75
No one let us down - far from it. Sadly we had a death, health issues, maintenance issues and two being sold. Those owners that could make it still came with other vehicles, god bless them :-) I hoped to go, but getting married the weekend before resulted with a change in plans - the other half not keen to have this as a honeymoon... a pity, as I had been looking forward to it. Life unfortunately often gets in the way of what we would like to do - perhaps next time I will get there with the WSC... or perhaps something larger if it's finished. All reports are I missed an exceptional event and I can only hope that the organisation team are prepared to do it again soon. A huge level of support and coordination to achieve a great result... may be next time, a second camp for the British and Commonwealth units ;-) Congratulations to all those involved. Jack, Jim and Adrian for the main organisation. Broadmayne Steve amongst a lot for the school trip. Jacqui, Jouw nederlands is prima,nu de rest nog... Mack-Steve (damn, forgot your wifes name:blush:) for the tea in the truck Robert for returning me to camp The AA halftrack guys for returning my medic bag, sorry I wandered off. Julian and Sam for sharing a meal. (any helmet dreams yet?) Richard and Rosie for the laughs. Ken for introducing me to Nigel. Wargaming.net for the sponsorship. The despatch riders for keeping us moving through traffic. All those who helped organise it, people I talked with and many more made it a very enjoyable trip.
