Hi

I need a wartime Temp gauge or at least the thurmostat end that goes in the rad header tank ? See photo, it appears to need a female threaded fitting, but I presume it has the electrical connections for the wires, or is it a tube ?

Any help gratefully apreachated

Cheers

Jules this is a capillary temp gauge, I bought 3 N.O.S units from the 70s 80s on ebay for about £15 each, he had dozens at the time.

The benefit of these older units is they have a range from 50' C - 100' C where as the modern gauges seem to go to 120-140C and as our vehicles only run at about 65-75 ish depending whether you have a thermostat fitted ?

Every conceivable male / female fitting is available on ebay to connect to your vehicle, I have one fitted on the K5
