marvinthemartian
Shame to see them grounded, such a great versatile helicopter.
Topdog
Maybe, but getting very old now. I have done a few miles in them which saved us many hours of walking in the snowy mountains of Scotland. Great piece of kit. Happy memories
robin craig
Is there a chance that someone got things cocked up when calling them "junglies"? Comments? Robin
matchstick
Is there a chance that someone got things cocked up when calling them "junglies"? Comments? Robin Well if the aircraft being flown out of Yeovilton for the fly over were from 845 Naval Air Squadron who are nicknamed the Junglies, then the term Junglies isn't really a cock up. Just my observation.
Johnc61
The five Seakings and Merlin flew over my house. They were known as 'Junglies' after flying special missions in Borneo in the 1960's. Let's hope the Merlins last as long.
