Greengrassuk
Hi All, I'm having some exhausts made for the 1000cc engine, as all you can seem to get are restricting 900cc ones. they will be made out of stainless steel by a very reputable company who have been making specialist exhausts for many years. As i'm neither a business nor rich I had to have 10 made to make them cheap enough to sell the remaining 8. If any one is intrested in one let me know Andrew Count me in for one of them. Are they complete with both mufflers? Greengrassuk

The leak is from the drive shafts past the boot on either side. Are the boots the actual seals? If you have had to do it can you guide me please. the-blue-cloud
Perhaps we have translation problems .....? The inner rubber boot cuffs seal both the gearbox and the differential. It is therefore important to use the correct boot and original mounting parts. ( clamp ring little and big and guide plate. ) In the inner boots is every time oil. The housing is sealed over the seal-ring and the socket. At the wheel side is just fat behind the collar. So where is the problem exactly? Thanks so much for the information all I have to do is get them from Marco at Kempers and I think he wants part numbers but I will give him a try. Looks as though my Munga will be at Dorset Steam Fair this year again so if you do come, come and say Hello. Graham

austromunga
Hi all have you seen the latest edition of classic military vehicle !!! there's an article on pages 51-57 entitled "MUNGA FOR THE MASSES" (all good for raising the profile of our favourite little runabout!!!) oh and you may notice the modern Munga pics are of a certain F91/8 reg No EOL 890 C taken a year ago at W&PR 2014!!! so here's some more... from this year!! only four Mungas in total in abundance at this years show... that I saw anyway .. including one dead one for resto!!!..and my own!!!! A wiring fault on the way home (just 10 miles away too!!) caused the starter ballast circuit to operate all the time on 24V instead of 12V and burnt out all three sets of points!!! apart from that she behaved faultlessly and handled everything good old RAF Westerhanger could chuck at us (another storm on que on the Friday!!) just like last year!! turning the "dust bowl" in to a fun quagmire once again)!!!! looking forward to next year already!!!!! hocdeput
Hi guys, I have just recently bought a '63 DKW Munga but need to get the chassis number and I've no idea where to find it on it. If anyone knows where it is located on it, could you please let me know ASAP. Thanks very much.
the-blue-cloud
no problem, you will find the chassis Number on a metallic plate in the engine room between the battery and behind the right wheel. When these metal plates are missing, contact me at ulmahat@gmx.de We find another (non-public) solution

the-blue-cloud
There are pages from Germany, so the language is "German". From a language in Europe, we are far away ...... As far as known, there is only the MUNGA-IG (http://www.munga-ig.de) information in several languages, since it`s an international club. The Munga-Ig also has a Facebook page......
