Burian
Just obtained a truck ex radio body. These were not fitted with a tacho, is it possible to just fit a tacho to the dash or do you also have to add wiring. Would be nice if the wiring was all therebut just the tacho missing. Presumably not considered necessary as the vehicle was supposed to travel at no more than 55Kph. Thanks
johnwardle
Why do you want a tachograph, are you using it commercially? Check on the VOSA website to find out if you need one as fitting a tachograph to a Leylad Daf 4 tonner is not an easy job, they were not wired for a tachograph as the army didn't use them. David2162
Mine has a tacho mounted under the middle seat it was there when I bought it from Dave crouch however it's plated private LGV so no need to use it

There should be a rev counter fitted, a rectangular gauge top left of the dash. If it is missing then the wiring will be there.
