paulob1
its only a bit of a drive around, test the engines work on the tanks and that we have enough men to drive them....nothing really that special, nothing moving overseas. Do we really need to worry about moving vehicles in the UK. if we are hit in the UK, tanks wont be waiting for trains they will be moving under their own steam (get it) and heading for cover/ sites to protect...so assuming our wars will be overseas it doesn't seem to have much point to me... Our very own Snapper was there yesterday - a 19 hour day for him yesterday and said he has taken 12 gig of images. We will have some images to share and I am guessing some of the live firing - he said he nearly wet himself.
attleej
Dear All, This is indeed not very much by standards of the recent past. However the good news is that MOD is planning an Ex SAIF SAREEA in Oman and that will be significant. The last one was a godsend because it was just before the Op TELIC and it enabled us to sort out one or two weaknesses. John

John Am assuming that what the MOD are planning to do is already knowledge in the public domain?
