Our Thoughts are with Martin (ltwtbarmy) and his family who has been kidnapped in Libya by the Rebels while on his way to work on the 17th of April.

This is terrible. My thoughts go to him and his family. I hope he will be soon back on the site.

The Foreign Office is advising against all travel to Libya now.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28509017

"There are believed to be between 100 and 300 Britons in Libya at present.

The warning follows reports at least 36 people have been killed in clashes in the city of Benghazi - and an attempted car-jack on a British embassy convoy.

Great news

Glad to hear he's home safe but just goes to show how dangerous the world is at present.

Yep it is very sad that we think we are becoming more civilized but the world is going backwards more and more..... very depressing

Probably as dangerous as ever, difference is we hear about it sooner/more with all the communication tools.
