I'm currently working my ferret fuel tank supports and have a question.
One of them has a piece of shiny metal bonded to the vertical plate and others are covered in a brass coloured layer under the paint. I was wondering if anyone know what the brass coloured layer is and what it's for.
The photos don't really show the colour very well.
