    Went round to see a mate today at his scrap yard to 'chew the fat' and as I went into the porch to knock the front door laying on the floor was this cycle rack. Unbelievable that one turned up within 24 hours of finding the bike.
    Now all I need are the gun clips like the ones in these 'library' photos

    Date should be on the back top of the cross bars. Were did you get the libaray photos?

    Ian , pictures of my rigid infantry bike, I always thought that it was a BSA. the rifle but clip and the muzzle clip are dated 1941 and 1942, I had pictures somewhere but cant find them , John.

    also Ian the muzzle clip part that bolts around the handlebar stem is brass, nothing a man of your calibre cant fabricate. John.
