Restoring British Munga 6

Im restoring a Munga 6.

The "Car-History" says, it is a british Munga and was used by the Royal Air Force in Berlin. You can see one of those Mungas in this video at 01:13 and 02:06.

 

 

 

The color of it is Royal Air Force Blue. Perhaps, anybody of you knows the color-code of it.

 

I already talked with "mogmaner" about some pictures, but perhaps anybody of you has got some too.

i have found the color for my munga. It is "RAL 5011".

Still hoping, that someone of you could send me pictures.

a big welcome in from another munga owner, its great you are doing it different to the usual .>army < style , can you post some pictures of yours on here please ?

To get the car history i used the chassis number. It was a munga of the Royal Air Force, so i decided to restore it that way.

Nice bunch of pictures, I like seeing these jobs progress, couple of things though.

That looks a lot like Cadmium plate/passivate that I used to get done years ago, I am intrigued as I have not seem galv look like that.
