Tracing army vehicles

Does anybody know if there are ways of finding out what happened to vehicles when they were demobbed? In particular a Centurion, 01ZR14, and a Stalwart, 17ET57, Cent was with 5RTR in Tidworth 1965/66, Stally with 5RTR in Wolfenbuttell Germany 1968/69

...Give the tank museum a quick call, they should have some info, and for a small fee, they'll send record cards (well photocopies, anyway....), which will show where the vehicles went to 1st after disposal....

Stolly technicaly a softskin vehicle. Records for softskins are held at the RLC Museum, Deepcut, Surrey.

Same criteria applies, fee for search Etc.

RE 01ZR14 try looking through T numbers at bovington.- It is possible that a T35- record card may have the ZR number annotated but it would require going through all the cards as the ZR regs are not in any logical order, this would probably require a visit as I doubt the Library staff would do that kind of search. If its a Tank I cannot understand how they can't find it.

I was told when I got in touch with Bovington trying to trace mine that they carried little info on the ZR series of tanks. Still trying to get more info on mine. If you have any luck. Please let me know where you got this from will give them a try myself. Good Luck.
