I saw this one at withams and thought it might have been an mct version. The roof hatches have been removed and a plate fitted over them.

Sirhc you are spot on. Yes there is a layer of applique something on the roof covering the whole area. If I tell you that the colour was yellow does that give anyone a clue as to why?

Guessing gulf war (1), was it used as a forward air observation post?
We have a Spartan MCT, minus turret. We have the launcher rails and hope to on day get a turret made for it.
Currently in hiding due to cold weather. Big bits of cold metal can wait (for further mangling) until its less cold!
